You often see posters from people asking for help finding their cat. Sometimes you even get posters from people who are looking to sell their cat.
But it's not often you see posters from people asking to borrowa cat.
SEE ALSO: Nest Cam catches a truly 'terrifying' home invaderOn Monday, though, that was exactly what went viral on Reddit.
"Wanted: to BORROW an orange cat for 24-48 hours, to have a lasagna dinner with Garfield-loving 4-year-old and 2-year-old children," reads the poster.
"Will return cat happy and cared for. Cat will not be required to eat lasagna..."
In case you need a reminder, by the way, here's Garfield:
That poster can be tracked back to Twitter, where it was posted by @lauren_jade44, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a few days ago.

We don't yet know if Clara found the orange cat she was looking for. But from the looks of the replies to that tweet, there was no shortage of offers...

Plenty to choose from there.
UPDATE: Aug. 7, 2018, 12:41 p.m. BST Clara Edwards, the mom behind the poster, got in touch with Mashable to give us an update.
"I have had two offers for cats," she said. "One fell through. She never replied on the day I was going to pick up the cat."
Edwards went on to say she may have an orange cat lined up for this coming Saturday evening, however.
"I am a nurse in Oklahoma," she said. "A medical student saw my post online (not sure where -- I posted it all over work and Craigslist; someone else put it on Twitter and Reddit) and text messaged me... the med student and her boyfriend are (hopefully) going to bring their cat over to eat on Saturday evening."
Edwards is going to keep us updated, so watch this space...
